The new airline will focus it's routes on main hubs in Indonesia such as Ambon Balikpapan and Jakarta. As the airline receives more aircraft over the coming years, so will their network of routes increase. They plan to fly to destinations such as Australia, India and China. Fingers crossed and all the success to Batik Air.
Indonesia's biggest airline Group (Lion), is preparing to use its eastern regional nave in North Sulawesi, Manado, as a gateway to reach routes in Eastern Asia.
Batik Air will take on destination from also fly from Pekanbaru, Jakarta , Balikpapan and Ambon. A stronger advantage of Manado acting as an East Asian hub, was that the carrier could avoid paying and using aviation charts, as most of the destinations were mainly inland. The Lion Group also have plans to launch a cruise ship to carry travellers to tourist dive destinations.
A good choice for batik is the aircraft is built largely with lightweight composite materials and is about twenty percent more fuel efficient than similarly sized planes and is the first mid-size airplane capable of flying long-range destination routes.
Booking flights on Batik air is easy as one-two-three.
